Questions and Answers
However, take note that depending on your TV's HDMI layout you will either need this connector, or it's opposite, the 270 degree connector. HDMI plugs only fit in one direction, so don't be like me and order the wrong one only to find out you've just angled your cable in the wrong direction! Look closely at your TV, then at the picture, make sure this is the one you need.
Make sure you know in which direction you are trying to route the cable and depending on that buy this connector.
It's 90 degree connector and you might need 270 degree angle for your cable routing depending on your TV's HDMI and the side of routing upward/downward.
PROS: Excellent connection
PROS: does the job
PROS: Exactly as described. Should work great for my soon-to-be wall mounted TV.
CONS: Might be a con for some people... It doesn't extend that far out from whatever you plug it into. For example, I can't use it with my ceiling mounted projector because the port is recessed / this adapter isn't enough to get past that "lip." But, like I said it works just fine with my TV (that doesn't have the port recessed).
My suggestion to the manufacturer and distributor is to market Port Saver adapter in either left and right configurations or the one that can be hinged or rotated to make it universal for all situations.
My last order from MonoPrice.com contained number of different cables and adapters. Kudos to them for quality products, reasonable pricing policies and prompt delivery.
Keep up the good work!
I'd pass on these.
PROS: Item did exactly what I planned.
CONS: Could fall out of connector.
PROS: Good looking adapters. Looks to be of good quality.
CONS: Have not tried them out yet. May not need them but wanted them on hand just in case.
