I was hoping to connect a DVI monitor to the spare VGA port on my machine. Figured this was a quick, cheap way to do that. Unfortunately it did not work. Windows recognized something was connected, but there was no output to the monitor. Had to resort to a straight VGA-to-VGA cable.
Would you happen to have the make and model of the monitor you are trying to connect? If the monitor has a DVI-D port, it will not work with this adapter as this adapter is intended for displays that accept an analog DVI signal rather than digital. Also, what other output ports are does your computer provide? I apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your feedback. Please let me know the make and model of the display so that I may better assist you. Thank you in advance!
Thank you for your review and truly sorry to hear about your experience with PID 2397. May I ask what setup you are trying to achieve? Can you describe your current setup including all devices and cables in use? Have you tried switching the cables or testing with another device? Please let me know so that I may further assist you. Thank you!
