Both the cable and the Null Modem worked beautifully on my project to CLONE memory from one FT-450D to another. Now I'm using the cable to run CAT on my radio. Quality products are greatly appreciated.

Serial adapters now hard to get
This is part of a serial adapter kit that I use for troubleshooting Suns and other older equipment . I already had a usb to com adapter for my laptop but I needed various null modems , gender changers,db9to25 adapters to complete the kit. Monoprice had it all in stock and it helped me in troubleshooting at our data center.

    PROS: Does the trick

    CONS: None

PROS: Small form factor light weight and works great so don"t have to carry a heavier cable with me

    CONS: none
