Does it come with a low profile bracket also?
    A shopper on Mar 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: A low profile bracket is too short to fit 2 eSATA ports, it seems to me.
Monoprice does offer a single-port bracket (Product ID: 7637) but that bracket is full size. You could try cutting down the bottom portion of the bracket to make it fit into a low profile chassis, but that would require considerable careful cutting skill. I suspect that it would be easier to buy a single port low profile USB bracket (which I can't find at Monoprice) and then remove the USB connector and install the eSATA connector instead, perhaps transferred from either of the Monoprice eSATA brackets. It likely would be easier still to search for another vendor that offers a low profile single-port eSATA bracket. A less elegant solution would be to buy either of the Monoprice brackets and then unscrew its metal bracket and then bring one or both eSATA connectors through an open rear slot to plug into SATA ports on the motherboard, letting the external connector(s) hang free to connect the eSATA cable(s) to your external device(s).

    Great cheap sata esata adapter
I needed a sata to esata connector to fit an external sata port. I unscrewed the cables from the bracket and got two of them now for $1.62. Does the job.

    PROS: Cheap, but good quality.

    CONS: None.

    Great adapter
This is a great way to add eSATA to a computer with unused SATA ports. Remember that this is just an adapter, eSATA features and compatibility will depend on your motherboard.

    PROS: Easy to install
Works with any computer that has unused SATA ports

    CONS: None

Works great in my slimline PC case
Purchased the card to be able to add additional external drives to an older HP computer (Win 7 64 bit professional) that is half height and therefore only takes low profile cards that also have a low profile bracket. I connected 2 eSATA drives and they work fine. Just to be sure they did not interfere with existing connectors on the motherboard, I also connected 2 long eSATA cables directly to the motherboard connectors and these drives also worked,

PROS: Delivery was timely. Easy to install. No setup issues. Works as advertised.

    CONS: None so far
