PROS: Light weight and flexible, these cables are easy to manipulate and arrange as you would like. I have used them to connect Samsung Galaxy S2, S3, S4 to PCs and to chargers and they functioned well.
CONS: On the two cables I used, the flexible rubber outer skin came loose from the plastic encasement at the micro USB end, exposing the inner conductor wires. This allowed the inner wires to flex too much and could cause the copper wires to break. To reduce the wear, I applied electrician's tape to the exposed area, but I need to reapply it every month or two, as the sticky tape becomes loose.
Wish they sold these also in 4' or 5' lengths for the car. 3' is too short and 6' is a little too long! Just a suggestion Monopeople.
solid connection into Micro B side
CONS: Nothing yet
PROS: "Snaps" into place
CONS: Not long enough
PROS: works like a charm with my galaxy s4! full charge at 1900ma
CONS: not sure how long it will last
The Down side with buying cheap cables is cheap cables. I have had issues with the clips wearing out quick on the Micro-Usb side. When they work they work Great. If they would use a different more stiff metal on it I think the cable would be amazing. The other issue is wires showing as the rubber breaks from where the cable joins the Micro-Usb connector. These has been a Constant issue and not one cable in the few years of purchasing has avoided this self destruct mechanism. Electrical tape or using the RMA always fixes it. I usually buy 5 Cables at a time this way I have extra if a few go bad.
Overall its a great cable that suffers from a long time plaguing wearing issue. I have yet to see the company make any changes to this cable to solve the issue of quick wear from moderate to heavy use. BUT I have never been turned down for the RMA's. I also forget alot to use the RMA's and just wind up ordering new cables because I tend to just throw them out. But thats my wallet issue, don't let it be yours. Compared to spending $13-$25 at local Computer stores or even more. I think the little issues are worth the long time savings. I can get several of these for the price of One at a Brick and mortar or other online areas and I know the quality will last around 6 months before I need to RMA or restock.
