BEST ANSWER: To charge it? There's no reason it would not work for that. It charges everything else I own that has a micro USB charge port.

How can I be sure that this cable is usb 2.0 when it has a white "A" connector? Doesn't white mean usb 1.0?

BEST ANSWER: The color of the plastic connector insert doesn't necessarily indicate the speed. Blue might be common for USB 3.x but it's not required. This cable should work just fine and at full USB 2.0 High Speed (480 Mbps). The change from USB 1.x to 2.0 was about the signaling and timing rather than the cable wiring. (Source: the USB 2.0 specifications.) USB 3.x requires a different cable due to the additional signaling pins, and 10 Gbit/s and higher USB 3.1+ cables require quality electronics and wiring to ensure that speed is achievable.

Inexpensive Phone Charging Cord
Purchased a replacement cord for my Samsung phone since the one that came with the device began to fray. Son told me about this website and the great bargains on phone charging cords. Shipped quickly, was packaged well, works great.

Bought 10, all work well, shipped quickly
I got 10 of these and they arrived very quickly and all worked as expected. Price was excellent. None of my devices have recessed Micro USB ports, so the square-ish plastic on the micro end isn't an issue for me. I can see if your phone or tablet is in a case and the case port opening is not wide or tall enough these would not work. I would buy them again.

Plug is too bulky for many things!
I bought several of these at once, planning to charge: An Xbox One controller, a wireless headset, and 2 HTC Vve controllers. The Xbox controller is the ONLY one it will fit into. The casing around the micro USB end is too big to fit in any of the others.
