PROS: Absolutely nothing.
CONS: A waste of time and money. I am now out of shipping costs, exchange rate and custom duties, even if I spend more money to ship it back for a refund. Read the other reviews and buyer beware, if you don't want to take just my word for it.
The regular Ultra Slim HDMI cables work great up to 1080p going from Cable Box or BluRay to Onkyo receiver, with a second Ultra Slim going from Onkyo to the TV. I mention this because you cannot string two active cables together in series, but you can if you have an audio receiver in-between. Hope that makes sense & helps.

PROS: Thin and fairly cheap
CONS: Doesn't work on multiple devices
PROS: Thin cable
Good looking metal connectors
CONS: May not be compatible with all sources
PROS: Great price, very slim and flexible.
CONS: TV won't always recognize cable
Once I bought ALL of this stuff, I immediately put my knowledge of "expensive cables are pointless" to use, and purchased 10 Amazon Basics High Speed HDMI cables to hook everything up.
No problems. In fact, I argued with some folks in a TECH forum who were discussing 18 different types of cables and whether they could carry a 4k 60hz HDR 4.4.4 4.2.2 etc signal. Brands I never heard of, prices all over the place. I simply said my $6 (for the length I was getting) Amazon Basics cable did everything just fine.
Then I had an issue with getting Dolby Vision and HDR to work on Netflix with the TV app, Roku, PS4, etc. Turns out it was user error, but in the process I went hunting for a different type of cable to try out. Supposedly you need 18gb/s to push all this. My cables are rated at 10gb/s. I came here because I have purchased decent quality cables before for a good price.
The only cables listed at 18gb/s were these active cables, and of course I liked the fact they were slim. So i bought 3 actives and one non-active.
EVERYTHING I tried these cables on had issues. The PS4 Pro would lose signal intermittently, blanking in and out. I've read about HDCP handshake issues with the console so I chalked it up to that. I used it on other devices.
From AVR to TV - ARC works (even though some say it doesn't) but HDCP handshake fails from time to time, and I get the same blanking out randomly.
From Xbox One S - No drop outs on signal, but from time to time when I turn on my setup (DVR - Xbox - Denon - TV) the xbox gives me a picture lost message and I have to unplug and re-seat the cable. Then sometimes when I turn the xbox off and on (I was testing my Logitech Elite remote) the sound simply wouldn't work until I rebooted either the console or the AVR.
From DVR to Xbox S - Intermittent sound issues (very infrequent) and intermittent video blanking, AGAIN. This is on a 1080P SIGNAL from the DTV box! Not 4k!
So basically on every single device, using a combination of ANY of the 4 cables either together, one at a time with my tried-and-true hdmi cables, or in any combination thereof, I get both audio and sound issues. INSANE. ALL FOUR. Whether it's a 4k Device or NOT.
And yes, I know how to tell which end goes into which device. It plainly states which end goes where.
Bottom line, these cables are worthless. I could understand ONE problem. ONE bad cable. But the chances of me receiving FOUR (3 active, one not) HDMI cables that are ALL defective I have to say is one in a million easy. These things can NOT handle 4k @ 60hz FOR SURE, and you will still have issues with 1080p as well.
I know this is word-y, but this is lengthy to show that I have intensely put these things to the test to make sure it wasn't anything other than the cables themselves. Couple that with other reviews, and well....
TL:DR ---- STAY AWAY. FAR AWAY.
