Simple device but, if you need one, the monoprice can't be beat and shipping is fast. Thanks!

It works just like it should
There's not much you can say about utility cables of this sort other than they work. I needed more for expansion of an older system. I bought a few extras while I was at it. It turned out that I needed a couple for a new system as well as the fans use this older type of power connection.

    local pickup
    Excellent price/performance ratio.
Again, there is no path to do review on service. So I use this to review the service, specifically on local pickup customers.

    PROS: Excellent price/performance ratio.
This review has nothing to do with the product though. It is about the new local pickup service.
Monoprice does not provide a way to do review on service.

CONS: The con is on their new way to service local pickup customers.

As if their brand new location is a fortress or airport after 9-11, local pickup customers have to sign in with the guard at a huge gate. He would eye you up and down to checked you up, though he did not physically touch you. You're first a suspect before being a customer. (Next time I'll wear a tuxedo and ride a limousine.) The pickup is at the truck entry ram of their inventory area, which is a bit far away.

The old way is far better: at the office area, with air conditioning.

At least get rid of the sign-in thing at the truck ram. What does it do? You already have cameras everywhere at the building. Serve the customer, not trying to interview them as suspect.

On the other hand, I like monoprice because I live close by, I don't have to pay mail cost with the local pickup option.
More important, I can pick it up fast, when time is the essence. Otherwise, free shipping from Amazon.com and others can be almost as good.
