The product's title says "Monoprice Essentials Palette Series High Speed HDMI Cable, 4K @ 60Hz, HDR, 18Gbps, YUV 4:4:4, 32AWG, 6ft" but the product's description specs the cable at 10.4 Gbps. Which is it? 18Gbps or 10Gbps? I purchased this cable because the title categorized this cable at 18Gbps which I need for 4K HDR.
Thank you for your question. This cable would not support HDMI 2.0 which would require an 18Gbps bandwidth and these cables would support a 10.2Gbps bandwidth. You can receive full 1080p@60Hz, however it would only be able to provide a 4K resolution at 30Hz. If you require the full HDMI 2.0 spec, I would recommend our Premium Certified HDMI High Speed cables. Such as Product # 15428.

These are good HDMI cables that work just fine. The plugs are small enough to fit in tight spaces. The cable is flexible enough to be easy to route. The 3 available colors are great. Easy color coding is a feature I didn’t know I wanted until I was sitting behind my home theater suddenly losing track of which cable I plugged where. Good price. Good value.
I’m indifferent to the fact that it’s working in 4K or not. I notice more color variation in the picture, but don’t know if that’s all in my head. I have a 4K HDR 10+ Samsung tv and a 4K Xbox One X and I can’t tell the difference in picture quality between this cord and the old cord that came with the Xbox. I’m kind of unimpressed. If you have any reservations about buying the cord, just buy it, the savings are cheap enough, but if you’re a gamer or movie lover of like Sci-fi I’d spend the money on something pricey you know is gonna really kill it hard.
Needed additional HDMI cables and started looking at reviews since prices are all over the place for these cables. CNET had the best reviews and even mentioned the type of cables they use to review high end video & audio equipment and that they often purchased from Monoprice. I went to the site, found the cables I needed and ordered the, prices were great, the shopping was easy, and the shipping was quick. Excellent product and works great on my 4K UHD TV.
