    The Luxe Series CL3 Active High Speed HDMI® Cable is designed to meet or exceed the highest standards of performance and safety for HDMI cables. It uses an active chipset to individually regenerate and balance the three video signal elements, giving it the ability to transmit signals at speeds up to 18Gbps*. This enables it to support all of the features specified in the latest HDMI specification, including 4K video at 60Hz* and 3D video. The CL3 fire safety rating means that the cable jacket has been treated with a fire-retardant, which ensures that it meets fire safety standards for use in and through the walls of residential class buildings.     CL3 Rated: The cable jacket has been treated with a flame retardant and has been tested to the CL3 standard, making it safe for use in and through the walls of residential class buildings.

    Active Chipset: The active chipset individually regenerates and balances the three video signal elements, giving the cable the ability to transmit High Speed HDMI signals over longer distances, using thinner gauge conductors than passive HDMI cables.

    Premium Braided Jacket: The plastic cable jacket has been encased within braided nylon, which resists nicks and cuts without reducing cable flexibility. Additionally, the braided jacket gives a premium appearance over that of ordinary plastic jackets.

    Zinc Alloy Connectors: The zinc alloy connectors not only improve durability, they help provide protection from electromagnetic and radio frequency interference, which helps ensure the best performance possible.

    BEST ANSWER: CL2 is rated to 150 Volts, CL3 is rated to 300 volts. I don't believe a typical HDMI connection would have voltage anywhere near 150 volts.
    Can I use this repeater using a Monoprice 50ft cable to connect to a Denon AVR monitor out?

    BEST ANSWER: For the price it's worth a try. My system kept loosing signal with a 50 foot 4k rated hdmi cable (not monoprice), that supposedly had a repeater built in. This repeater works, had to put it in at the projector/tv, as it didn't help at the bluray/amp. Hope it works for you!

    Another excellent HDMI cord!
    I ran this cord under my house from my receiver in my living room to my bedroom. This cord produce the best possible 4K quality I could hope for. Just make sure the ends are connected correctly (Source to receiver and TV to TV.).

    PROS: Flexibility - The braided jacket lets you unwind it easily and keep the bend you want
    Durability - The braided jacket protects the wires from any wear and tear possible
    Speed - @ 18Gb/s it provides the best possible quality from the source it's connected to

    CONS: Price - We are always looking at getting the best at a cheaper price, but nothing really compares at this price
    Thickness - The thickness is more than a standard HDMI cable that you're use to, but this is what provides the flexibility and durability.

    40 ft doesn't work with UHD Player
    I don't often praise the overpriced Monster cables but a 35 foot platinum cable handled the signal from my Samsung UBD-K8500 player, this cable gave me the no HDMI signal detected.

    I'm sorry to hear that, the thing about Active HDMI cables is that they are directional. You would want to make sure that the side labeled Source is plugged into the source device and the side labeled TV is plugged to the TV. It will not work if plugged in backwards.     Great cable for my curved screen TV
    Monoprice did me a great help on this. I had ordered a 30 ft cable earlier and when the technician measured a new route, it fell short. I called Monoprice and they were great in letting me return the shorter one and order this one instead. Cable looks great after install and fits my curved screen TV perfectly.
    Yet to try out the ARC function though.

    PROS: Nice and sturdy construction and passed through the wall without many kinks.

    CONS: None yet.
