does this support 4k with hdr?
    A shopper on Dec 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I also purchased a 40ft cable and HDR (deep color) does not work. I get a black screen as if there's no signal if I turn on Deep Color for that particular port on my LG OLED55E6P from a signal that comes from my PC's graphics card (Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 Ti) I do get 4K@60Hz with chroma 4:2:0 which is good enough for gaming from my couch.
Can I run this to a wall plate and then a shorter cable to the source device? I was unsure since this is an active cable
    robert a on Feb 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: In that this cable is CL2, you can run it inside a wall. I then connected it, at both ends, to faceplates. Then, I connected the output of the receiver to the one faceplate, and the projector to another faceplate. So yes, you can run a shorter cable. Just be sure to use the source end at the receiver/player and the display end at the projector/tv.
Does his cable support HDCP 2.2 ?
    Jose M on Apr 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The cable will work with HDCP 2.2 devices. That would just be a protocol in the signal that is read by the source device and the display. So you would want to be sure that your source device and display support HDCP 2.2 when viewing 4K content.

With this Active HDMI cable just be sure that the end labeled source is plugged into the source device and the end labeled TV is plugged into your display. It will not work backwards.

Is the outer jacket stamped "CL3"? I will run this inside a wall and the electrical inspector needs to see CL3 marked on the cable.
    Dennis J on Jun 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Mine do not say anything about their rating at either end.
I bought the cable last year to run in the walls of my basement theater room. It worked fine on the Xbox and recently I found that it doesn't work for my PS3. I get a invalid signal on my projector. Is anybody else having this problem and if so, is there any way to fix it? I was thinking of buying the same cable again to run in the walls in my bedroom, but if this cable has problems with with some systems, I'd rather not buy it. Thank you
    Tommy Z on Mar 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I think the cable is fine, the problem I've seen is on some devices the HDMI won't push the data over about 20 FT. I've seen some laptops work great others my projector just acts like a cable isn't even plugged in.
I would like to connect 4 HDMI devices to the Blackbird 4K Pro 4x2 True Matrix High Speed HDMI® Powered Switch and then use this cable to connect from the switch to the HDMI input on the TV. Will there be an issue with this or does this HDMI cable need to be connected directly to the HDMI device's (the source) output port?

Monoprice Blackbird 4K Pro 4x2 True Matrix High Speed HDMI Powered Switch with Control Remote, Coaxial Audio Output and EDID
BEST ANSWER: That is it all you need is an HDMI output and an HDMI input. What ever is on the other side of the matrix switch or media device is between that device and the source. device. Use this cable on either side of a switch, just connect them in the right direction, the switch is the source if the display is the TV. The DBD/BlueRay is the source and the display is the switch.
I want to run a short cable to my A/V receiver then run a 35 foot length of this cable to my TV. I will use the audio from the Receiver, not the TV. Will this cable have and latency (time delay) that would cause the audio from the receiver and the video on the TV to not be in sync?
    A shopper on Jan 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I haven't had any issues with this

    Evan F on Jul 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Don't see why not.
Do you know if the luxe series hdmi cable will support 3440x1440 at 100hz?
    A shopper on May 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for the question. This cable will support a maximum resolution of 3840x2160@60Hz. It may be able to support the 100Hz when at 3440x1440 but it would likely be unstable. I hope this helps.

what is the connector width? I want to run in a 3/4 inch conduit. Will that work or do I have to go to a 1 inch conduit?
    Brian H on May 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I just installed this and had to use 1" conduit which provided enough wiggle room to easily run it. I would consider going with 1".
I get no signal when using this cable between my cable service(AT&T) and my TV. I also get the same when used with my camera dvr connect to my TV?
    Kenneth T on Mar 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Try reversing the cable, it is directional. source end to source and TV end to TV or monitor
I bought this cable last year for a 30-foot run in wall in my basement. The Xbox works perfectly on it. I recently tried my PS3 and the signal cannot process. Is this expected? Is there anything I can do to get this to work if people had
similar pr, oblems? I was going to buy this again to run in my bedroom walls but now I'm a little nervous if it doesn't work in certain scenarios.

    Excellent HDMI cord
I ran this cord under my house from my computer to my receiver and it worked perfectly with perfect 4K quality. Just make sure it's connected the correct way (source end to computer and TV end to receiver). I came really close to having to make an extra army crawl under my house.

PROS: flexibility - This cord was able to be unwound and stay unwound due to the great braided jacket.
durability - The braided jacket gives it great protection from any wear and tear that could come from installation or even removing and re-installation due to moving to a new house (My future plans).
high speed - 18Gb/s = Best quality available from source.

CONS: Price - Always wishing for cheaper prices (but you get what you pay for...)
Maybe Thickness - Not really a huge con sense this is due to the braided jacket that gives it it's great durability and flexibility, just thicker as compared to other HDMI regular cords.

    Does not have advertised bandwidth
This cable is supposed to support 18Gbps over the 30ft of length I purchased, but it does no better than my 10.2Gbps 30ft cable. Cannot support more than 8bpc 4:2:0 @ 4k 60hz. Any attempts to go to 10+bpc or 4:2:2+ caused my display to go blank.

    Outstanding cord
Using this cord to connect wall mounted LCD TV to our entertainment center. Needed 30Ft cord to run through the conduit in the wall. This was the perfect cord. The braided jacket made it very easy to feed the cord through the pipe. Impressed with the packaging, quick delivery, and great experience with Monoprice. The price for this cable was very competitive.

PROS: Flexible, easy to use, great looking, very functional, good price

    Very good quality
This is not your standard hdmi cable. Very thick! I had to roll it out on the floor and stretch it out before fishing through the conduit I had installed into my new house. It gives me a great picture 4K! I could not believe the price for this level of quality.

Great cables; great signal and tough
I have about 15 of these cables of various lengths throughout my home as my input sources for video are centralized in my home. They are heavy duty, tough, and deliver a great single.

I was happy when I saw my video display on the monitor
I read a lot of conflicting information about the maximum length of a hdmi cable and never got a clear answer. I ordered three of these cables for my video production setup, plugged them in, crossed my fingers and prayed.

    And they worked great.

    Well constructed
Well constructed, works as advertised. None the less, I can't tess the higher data transfer rate it should support at this time.

    Excellent product
This cable is very good for a home theater. I bought the 30 ft cable for my projector and it works pretty well.

    Good value
Solidly built cable. Stiff enough to push through a hole in a concrete block wall. Came in a tight coil, but once straightened, did not try to roll up again. Video quality is excellent, even attached to a HDMI splitter.
