This is a good, sturdy 5-conductor component cable. The connectors are real sturdy having survived being drug under the house (my cardboard wrap didn't last long). I'm enjoying the video and audio from my cable box to the kitchen where they now, thankfully, play in sync. This cable did the job.
I was using a Monoprice HDMI cable with Redmere technology to slave a tv in another room to my cable box when it suddenly stopped working. Since the cable worked when connecting a DVD player to the tv, the nearest I could figure out was that the cable company had updated the firmware in the STB. In researching, I found others in the online community who had had this same problem. This cable solved it.
Highly recommended for those of you who can't use HDMI cables, but need Component instead. Fed off my Directv receiver to splitter and then to 2 other TV's. Solved my problems without any fuss and priced to my budget.
PROS: Great quality for this length. Fairly bendable for its thickness.
CONS: Only small gripe is that the two audio cables are slightly shorter than the video cables. But was able to adjust.
We're a professional AV company and used these cables on a project with a tight budget. The quality of the assemblies were very good and the performance exceeded the specification. They arrived carefully packaged and on-time.
Monoprice has good prices and great shipping times. Got these cables in 3 days (or so) without paying a bunch for extra shipping. Prices for these cables are really good. They are my new go to guys for anything audio/video. I was going to make my own cables to save some money and to get exactly what I wanted. After checking the local radioshack I found these which are exactly what I wanted and saved me some money, can't go wrong there.
PROS: Great shipping times. Great cables, picture quality is better with 50 feet cables then when TV was closer with 10 feet Radioshack quality cables. 5 coax cables are molded together in a wide flat "belt" so they lay very nicely on the floor and no big bundle to trip over.
PROS: I used a number of these cables of various lengths (up to 100ft) and have them running through a 5x5 components video audio splitter. This has allowed me to have one HD Cable box instead of 5! I have 1080 reception and stereo audio on all my HD Televisons. If I want to watch a different television station than what is on the HD Cable Box, I switch the TV from component video to cable input and watch regular cable via the RG6 run directly to each of the televisions. Very economical and versitile system. These quality cable are a KEY COMPONENT......Love THEM!
