PROS: It is Cat6! It is shielded to protect it from random frequency interference. It is cheap!
CONS: It is about twice as thick as a standard cat5 UTP, but this is a good thing since it has insulation to give you better bandwidth.
PROS: I couldn't find any other way to reach you. We buy from Monoprice because of price and product quality. The price difference between Monoprice and local vendors is often erased by high shipping costs. Please give us a cheap option to get stuff to Toronto Canada even if its slow.
PROS: Monoprice is a very good company to deal with. They deliver on time and solve any problems quickly. I enjoy doing business with them.
PROS: Worked well for the application. Used it to transmit HDMI signal.
CONS: Stiff cable. Little hard to pull out of box. Standard Cat5 fittings are difficult to put on this cable and Monoprice but can be doen. Monoprice does not offer a fitting that works for this cable.
PROS: Great price for in-wall, Stranded, Shielded CAT6!
CONS: Pretty fat. Difficult to crimp. I had to special order ends and couldn't use the ones I had in hand. Beginners may want solid wires.
We are returning the cable and the ends to monoprice.
PROS: Looks like nice heavy duty cable from the outside
CONS: The individual strand insulation is not a standard cat6 size. It is too large to fit into any of the cat6 ends we tried to terminate on to it.
PROS: Product came as advertised.
CONS: Heavy duty jacketing. Makes it impossible to get into an 8P8C end. Cable would snag on box when pulling it out making installation a pain because you have to run back to the box to clear the hang up.
