Surprisingly great stuff! I thought I was taking a risk in buying dirt cheap cat 6, turns out there was no risk at all. Pulled great, terminated in a snap, and runs flawless gigabit effortlessly all day long with no transmission issues whatsoever. If I didn't buy enough to last me a couple years I'd be buying again soon!

    Works for HDMI Extenders
Ran fine for single wire Cat6 HDMI extenders. That's my only 10G challenge

    Colors are off
I've made a couple of cross-connects to keystones and a couple of patch cables so far, and this cable is definitely stiffer than what I'm used to, but completely workable. The one odd thing is the color. The outside isn't really purple at all, more of a royal blue. Very slightly purplish. On the plus side, the wires that are supposed to be brown are extremely dark, almost black, which is actually an advantage, since they're easy to distinguish from the orange. The box uncoils from the side, rather than from the top I haven't tried pulling cable from the box with the hole facing upward, but the instructions have dire tangle warnings against trying it. So far it's tangle-free when oriented correctly.

    PROS: Sturdy
    Works fine
Brown wires easy to distinguish from orange wires
Length indicators easy to find and read

    CONS: Not purple

    Extremely Solid Cable
Overall, very satisfied with this cable. I'm building out my home network, and getting good, quality Cat6 for a low price has been fantastic.

PROS: Sturdy construction. A thick sheath, plastic reinforcement inside, and lower gauge wire than normally seen in these things.

CONS: The sheath is almost a little *too* thick you have to squeeze it so that it gets into the connector. Lower gauge wires mean that untwisting and flattening the wires is a little difficult, but I guess I'm just used to working with lower quality cable. Also, the reinforcement needs to be cut as far back as the sheathe so that it doesn't interfere with the connector.

It's bulk cable at a good price. Cost like $32 to ship. Ordered Monday got it Thursday. Can't complain. Typical monoprice quality.

PROS: It's purple and I like the color

    It's real copper

CONS: it was probably only 999.95 feet...

    It's heavy
