Avoid having excess Ethernet cable lying around by building your own cables to the exact length needed using this Bulk Ethernet Copper Cable from Monoprice!

    • Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) Category 6 Ethernet cable
    • 23AWG solid, pure bare copper conductors
    • CMR (Riser) fire safety rating
    • 500MHz bandwidth
    • 1000 foot roll

Monoprice Ethernet cables are made of 100% pure bare copper wire, as opposed to copper clad aluminum (CCA) wire, and are therefore fully compliant with UL Code 444 and National Electrical Code TIA-568-C.2 fire and safety standards, which require pure bare copper wire in communications cables.

    Works flawlessly
I wired my whole house a year and half ago. All the cable and jacks, etc. were from Monoprice. During installation, I pulled them hard, jammed extra length near jacks, and occasionally crossed electrical wires (yes, horror). Well, write-speed is quite consistently at 35Mb between my wired laptop from anywhere in the house to my network drive. Video playing from the network drive never has any problem.

    PROS: High quality

Used this cable to wire my entire home. A little bit of an overkill for what I need but for the little extra it costs to go CAT6 I'd rather get it done now and not have to worry about it in the future.

PROS: Good quality ,very easy to put ends on and patch down.
Cable pulls out easy without tangling.

CONS: The box started to come apart a little bit while carrying it by the handle due to the weight but never completely fell apart.

    Great Value
I've run at least four boxes of this so far, and never had any issues. The inner plastic shielding is very flexible, yet tough enough to prevent internal wiring breaks. Highly recommended.

    PROS: - Overall good quality.

    - Relatively Inexpensive.

    - Good shielding.

    CONS: None.

I ran about 600 ft of this cable across my property in conduct to tie in Internet with a 2nd dwelling.

PROS: Attenuation has not been a problem, in fact my brother played BF3 all weekend over the connection with no lag issues.

CONS: Careful with the box, we made the mistake of tossing it over a fence and the box simply fell apart when it landed. Not really a big deal, the cable pulled through the conduct without a hitch.

    quality cable, great price
I bought this cable so I could have CAT6 run through my house. It pulled through the walls just fine, and it's pliable enough to tie into a knot to keep it from falling back into the wall before you punch it down. It works great with the CAT6 connectors and tool-less keystone jacks. I also used this cable to make shorter patch cords and they work great.

    PROS: great price
    solid cable
    easy to work with

    CONS: um... not free?
patch cables are a little stiff, but that's expected with solid

This is the only Ethernet cable I will use now
I love this cable and it is by far my favorite CAT6 cable that I have used! I did not do most of the pulling of the wires, but I did all the terminations and it works great for jacks or ends and is pure copper (which is the only thing you want). I used it for work and home, because I like it so much.

PROS: Fair Price (not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for)
    Does not kink easily
length marks make it easy to see how much you have left in the box
