The cable had tons of tangles in the box. Quality of the cable is great however you cant pull it by yourself. Someone NEEDS to watching the box to make sure you don't get loops like this. We had 10 times at least where we needed to stop and take the box apart to get the tangles out. I think the problem is the he box is too small and the cable loops too tight.
They need to work on how this cable is wound into the box. Lots of tangles!
My company has decided to add a few drops through out our office building. I purchased this cable due to the affordable price they are offering. The over all cable is durable and extreamly well constructed this cable surpasses any thing that you could buy from the local hardware store. I would recommend this cable to any one who is looking for a reasonably priced CAT5e bulk cable.
This is the very first bulk cable purchase I've made and this is just about how I pictured it would be. Cable feels good, not cheap. No problems at all stripping the cable and separating pairs. Would buy again.
Just finished wiring my house with this cable. Everything is working great. I was a little worried at how thin the jacket is on the cable, but it doesn't seem to be a problem. I have not had one kink or snag when pulling from the box. I would buy this again.
CONS: Jacket is pretty thin, but it has not impacted stripping the ends.
Make sure you purchase good quality cable like this one. Whatever you do make sure to avoid CCA. Overall this is a good quality cable, especially for the price. I pulled five 60-70 foot runs of it, no kinks and easy to work with. Stiff, but not too stiff, which was perfect for fishing in wall.
PROS: Pure copper cable, NOT that CCA garbage. Didn't have any kinks out of the box. Overall good quality cable.
