Avoid having excess Ethernet cable lying around by building your own cables to the exact length needed using this Bulk Ethernet Copper Cable from Monoprice!

    Features:

    • Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) Category 5e Ethernet cable

    • CMR (Riser) fire safety rating
    • 350MHz bandwidth

    Exceptionally Good Quality
I only ordered 250 feet, as I needed an odd-color to make some patch cords. I was surprised at both the quality of cable, and the packaging. I've ordered small runs of cable before (from other outlets), and received what looked like a plate of spaghetti inside the box. This cable arrived neatly wrapped on a small spool with shrink wrap covering the outside. The cable itself also seems to be high quality. I'm only running my links at 100 Mbs, so I'm not sure how well it performs at Gigabit speeds, but I'm seeing almost 100% throughput over some pretty old Cisco gear. I would definitely recommend this product to others, and I would make this same purchase if I had to do it all over again.

PROS: Low cost, no large order requirement, excellent packaging, quality cable

CONS: Coast to coast ground shipping takes a while
