FLEXboot Series Cat6 24AWG UTP Ethernet Network Patch Cable, 30ft Green

Save the time and hassle of building Ethernet cables by using fixed-length UTP Cat6 Ethernet Network Cables from Monoprice!

The FLEXboot Series of cables feature a thinner cable boot protecting the plug retaining clip, which makes it much easier to depress the clip and protective cover.

    Features:

    • Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) Category 6 Ethernet cable
    • 24AWG stranded, pure bare copper conductors
    • 550MHz bandwidth
    • Snagless cable boot protects the plug retaining clip
    • Thinner cable boot makes it easier to depress the clip and protective cover
    • 50µm gold plated contacts
    • 30-foot length (tip to tip)

Monoprice Ethernet cables are made of 100% pure bare copper wire, as opposed to copper clad aluminum (CCA) wire, and are therefore fully compliant with UL Code 444 and National Electrical Code TIA-568-C.2 fire and safety standards, which require pure bare copper wire in communications cables.

    Great Price & Performance
I bought this as one of about a dozen Cat 6 cables for completing a structured wiring project in my house. So far I have run 580 feet of these cables.

These runs were through walls, through an unfinished attic and through ceilings and cabinetry. I still have about 400 feet left to run, but so far each cable has stood up to be pulled, twisted, and guided through the vatious spaces. Obviously, I am using CARE when pulling and/or twisting I really do not want to invite disaster by over doing it I do not believe the cables are indestrctable. Hoever I can say that I have not been "overly cautious" during these pulls, because as everyone who has ever done it know - when you are solo pulling cables through finish walls / cabinetry / etc. sometime a little force is necessary. I have broken cables in the past when I believe I was being perfectly reasonable in the amount of force I was using, these cables stood up to the test when others have failed!

Also - each of these cables I have run works with my devices connecting to the network and my switch showing gigabit signal passing through them once they are connected!

    Kudos to Monoprice :)

It does its job, behind wall cable.
Simply enough it just works for running a cable between two rooms in the walls. If you're doing the same and you've got a tight space a different end might be better suited for that, but just keep something like that in mind if that's your plan.
