Cat6 24AWG UTP Ethernet Network Patch Cable, 3ft Green
Save the time and hassle of building Ethernet cables by using fixed-length UTP Cat6 Ethernet Network Cables from Monoprice!
- Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) Category 6 Ethernet cable
- 24AWG stranded, pure bare copper conductors
- 550MHz bandwidth
- Snagless cable boot protects the plug retaining clip
- 50µm gold plated contacts
Monoprice Ethernet cables are made of 100% pure bare copper wire, as opposed to copper clad aluminum (CCA) wire, and are therefore fully compliant with UL Code 444 and National Electrical Code TIA-568-C.2 fire and safety standards, which require pure bare copper wire in communications cables.
- Spec Sheet (Apr 20, 2017)
So many cheap ethernet cables come with connectors that look like a child put them on, ready to fall off with bare wire showing way too far down. The plastic around the length of the wire usually fits them with too much extra room. These problems do not exist in any of my ethernet wires from Monoprice. They all look well made and the wires actually fill the jacket, which makes it appear they are of thicker gauge than the cheap ones you buy in stores. It costs way less on here as well.
PROS: Decently thick
Connector looks secure
CONS: Isn't wireless?
PROS: 3 ft. in length. Green. Works as advertised.
CONS: It doesn't make you better looking.
PROS: Solid, high speed data transfer, in a variety of different colors!!
CONS: After being coiled up for shipping, take awhile to get the cables to lay out, let alone flat. Plugging four into my router, the proceeded to curl up and pull the router off the desk. I flattened them under couch cushions for a week and it was better
PROS: Works Great
I recently installed a five-port switch behind my television so I could connect both my Wii and Blu-Ray player to the internet. The only ethernet cable I had laying around was a 30 foot Cat 5e cable that was way overkill for the foot and a half from the wall panel to the switch. Now I have a faster, best insulated cable that isn't any longer than I need it to be. Very happy, and you can't beat the price.
PROS: Thick cable, convenient length, choice of colors, better quality connectors
