10ft Premium 3.5mm Stereo Male to 3.5mm Stereo Female 22AWG Extension Cable (Gold Plated) - Black
The 3.5mm (1/8") stereo TRS connector is more commonly known as the Headphone Jack on portable mp3 players and mobile phones. This cable features a male 3.5mm stereo (TRS) plug on one end and a female 3.5mm stereo jack on the other end, each with molded connector housings and strain relief boots. Each connector is gold-plated to ensure smooth, corrosion-free connections.
The cable is made of heavy-duty coaxial cable for each conductor. The conductors are 22AWG and each conductor is shield to prevent EMI or RFI interference from entering your audio system. The cable is 12mm x 6mm thick, while the connector housings are 41mm long x 15mm diameter.
Because of their size and weight these cables are best suited for more permanent connections, such as from your PC to your sound system. If you want something more suitable for portable applications, please try one of our standard 3.5mm audio cables.
PROS: This thing is like two Coax cables mounted together to make a 3.5mm extension cable. Quality is in full effect here and this thing is solid. One of my favorite things is it's impossible to roll over this cable w/ a chair. It's much more likely such an attempt will result in a face plant.
Thank you for your review on PID 5588. My apologies for the audio quality issues experienced with this cable. If I may ask, can we test the cable with other devices such as between an MP3 player, phone, or tablet and a pair of headphones and/or earphones? Should the issues persist, I can assist you in setting up an RMA for a replacement. We cover our cables with a lifetime warranty and it would be of no additional cost to you to obtain the replacement. Truly sorry again for the trouble and I hope this helps!

I used this to route the signal from the TV down inside the wall and out to the entertainment center. The connection at the TV is very intermittent and needs to be reset quite often. The plug is fully inserted into the TV and the individual components plugged directly into the TV don't have a problem. This appears to be a common complaint in the reviews with this type of connector. It was only a few bucks so not a big deal. At some point I'm going to take a few measurements to compare with the connectors that do work.
PROS: Appears to be well made and works well when it works.
CONS: Intermittent connection at the male end.
PROS: Dual 22AWG cable for each of Left and Right channels is a plus.
Gold plated male and female connectors
CONS: It's a bit heavy due to the dual 22AWG cables for each channel.
Connector housings are a bit bulky, if the gold plated male connector had about a 1/8"less hard plastic around the base it might solve what some reviewers have mentioned of the connector not sitting into their equipment's audio out jack or if they need attach a stereo mini female-stereo 1/4 male adapter.
PROS: Great quality, price, and build.
CONS: Thick cable (which is what you expect for high quality cables) so the applications are limited to more spacious endeavors.
