Great product, I actually had to set up two RMA's because the initial product I received didn't work nor did the second one, but the Monoprice customer service was fantastic and very easy to work with. Also, the splitter itself works flawlessly.
I purchased this to use in my audio system to bring two input cables to my speakers. I should have purchased two, but ended up buying the volume adjustable ones to split to my outputs. (Those aren't great though.) These work well and do what they're supposed to and don't seem to sacrifice sound quality.

I purchased this five years ago and it has been in use ever since in a semi-permanent installation on my HTPC. I move the PC every other month for various reasons and have plugged/unplugged this adapter maybe 75 or so times over the past five years.
After the most recent unplug/plug cycle, one of the outputs no longer works.
PROS: High quality sound output
CONS: Failed after 5 years, about 75 plug/unplug cycles

This was a great cable for about 2.5 months, but it just gave out this morning. I don't know what happened, it just started getting a ton of static when I went to use it this morning running it between my gaming chairs like I often do and all there was was static. First thing from Monoprice that hasn't lasted long, everything else I've bought has been working great.
PROS: No noticeable sound quality reduction with this cable adapter.
Truly sorry to hear one of the two cables for PID 667 ordered did not function. These can be a tad shakey! Ive installed these numerous times and have already come across several defective ones. ALWAYS order 2 or more just in case!
