    Great Cat5 Cable

    PROS: Great quality of cable...

    CONS: None
    December 7, 2010
I bought one of these cables to go from one device to another. Both devices were able to communicate to each other using this cable. So if that's what you want to happen, you should get one of these cables.

PROS: This cable has a connector on BOTH ENDS! The wires inside go all the way from one end to other!!! The connectors FIT the socket. It is a lovely orange color that adds a festive appearance. All of the electrons that go from one end to the other seem DELIRIOUSLY HAPPY. Your life will be just so much better after you get one of these cables. 10 STARS!

CONS: If you take scissors to it, it will fail.

Gets packets to and from my network card as advertised
It's a nice 30-foot orange network cable for people who need such things. If you're using it as a temporary connection, and aren't going to cover it with a cord cover or raceway, the conspicuous color may help unsuspecting pedestrians to avoid tripping over it. Unless you have orange carpet.

    PROS: • Spiffy orange color.
    • Expected performance.
    • Correct length.
    • The normal prompt shipping from Monoprice.

CONS: • Possibly an unfair advantage in Call of Duty 4 multiplayer?
    • No blinky LEDs that change color as your data rate increases.

    Great Deal!!
I had monoprice.com recommended to me by two different people. I compared prices with the major retail chains and found the prices at monoprice.com too good to be true. Ordering was easy, the cable arrived on time and I couldn't be happier.

    Excellent Price and Quality
This is an excellent 5e patch cable. There are plenty of color choices should you want to used different cables to signify different types of traffic. (DMZ, External, Internal, Multiple VLANS, Etc)

There is no need to pay through the nose for patch cables. I have not seen any cases where a cable two to three times more expensive has performed any better or lasted any longer.

PROS: Affordable, nice quality, plenty of color choices.

    CONS: none
