PROS: No issues
PROS: Great Price, Solid Build, Plug and Play, Works as Advertised
CONS: None so far.
PROS: Stable, worked perfectly on 1st attempt, no fuss.
CONS: Had to wait for them to come in stock
PROS: They tested flawlessly at 1080i @ 200 feet over existing coax (160 feet of RG-6) and a 40 foot extension of
Belden 8241 (not officially rated for SDI). Did not test them at longer runs but intend on doing so for future applications. Testing was done with a Mac Mini and Vizio 65".
CONS: Test failed on 1080p but possibly because of non-compliant SDI coax.
Now I will be able to have live Skype reports in our school morning show. I love how this is giving my students a chance to do it like the professionals do it. Excellent product, and a perfect fit for our needs.
I already have plans to purchase several more of these. I also purchased mic cables and microphones from monoprice.com and I have found my new go-to company for technology needs. Fantastic products, amazing prices.
PROS: Easy setup
CONS: I hate that it has to be plugged in to power, but that is a necessary evil. No obvious cons.
The only issue I have with it is that when it is powered up, the target displays go to a dark grey instead of stay black. This causes the displays to seem bright at an angle, which has led to some comments. I've darkened the displays down a bit, but a converter should be able to produce true black, not a pseudo-black.
