Blackbird 4K Mini 1x4 HDMI Splitter
The Blackbird™ 4K Mini 1x4 HDMI® Splitter allows you to distribute a single HDMI signal to up to four displays. It features a 10.2 Gbps bandwidth and supports HDMI video resolutions up to 4K@30Hz, including 1080p@120Hz. It supports Deep Color up to 12-bits/channel, 3D video, and high-definition multichannel audio streams, such as DTS-HD Master Audio™ and Dolby TrueHD™.
This Blackbird 4K Splitter is the most compact solution available to get 4K HDMI resolution from a single source to four 4K displays.

An HDMI switch will allow you to connect multiple devices such as a bluray player, cable box and gaming console to one HDMI port on the TV. You would only be able to use one at a time though.
Regardless of using a switch or splitter HDMI will carry the video and audio. So in a splitter, it will send audio and video at the same time to all the ports. I hope this helps.
I did not think that would work with any 4K copyrighted (movies) media, does it?

Using it to split a satellite receiver output between the living room, and the kitchen tv, around the corner. The only minus so far, is when you power on the kitchen tv, the living room tv blanks out for a few seconds, then comes back on.
Annoying, but for the price, it's not a show-stopper.
