PROS: Cheap, easy USB device switching
PROS: -Quick switch to Source A to B
-Better then a KVM
PROS: Well built, works just as advertised, & the price was right.
CONS: Documentation/instructions were not too detailed, but after hooking it up, it was pretty easy to figure out. I made a sketch to show which pereferal was connected to which A/B output.
PROS: Easy to use. Does what it should with no hassle.
PROS: Easy to setup, small, works as advertised, price, and surprisingly I didn't need to have it powered.
PROS: The switch seems to work just fine. It's an old XP / new Mac Mini to printer / scanner hook-up. Hooking everything up was relatively painless. Thanks for giving me a chance to try it out before asking for a review.
CONS: The unit is very light. I use some double-face tape to keep it firmly in place.
PROS: Price, functions perfectly
Basically, there's a slight delay when yous switch from one output to the other.
I use this for a wireless keyboard and mouse combo, and each time your switch to the other output, the PC behaves as if you've just plugged in the USB dongle. Not a big issue, if you don't switch back and forth frequently.
Otherwise - a great product and you'd can't beat the price.
Side note: I would love to see a keyboard shortcut to trigger the switch, but I understand that means interpreting the USB device which would likely make this product more expensive.
CONS: no keyboard keys to switch output
