Is there a way to get rid of the source labels (ch1 etc)? They stay up for me I'd like to have them not show
    Joseph C on Dec 16, 2017
    BEST ANSWER: Hi Joseph,

Unfortunately the existing unit will maintain the OSD and there is no way for it to be removed currently.
Hello, has anyone found the commands to control the device through RS232?

I'm curious how this device handles image sizing on Modes 3, 4, and 5. Does it perform cropping of the sources so as to fit into those configurations? Or does it letterbox/pillarbox as needed?
    A shopper on Oct 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It handles it poorly, stretches and crops the screen
Does this do 4K output? If it does 30 or 60hz?
    A shopper on Feb 26, 2018
I see there are quite a few who have asked about the RS232 protocol or at least clicked "I have the same issue" - I have emailed Monoprice 2 to 3 times over the past month to ask for the Protocol and have yet to hear from them. Has anyone found the protocol and if not shouldn't Monoprice take any reference to RS232 off of this listing?

    Overlays information on input signals
This multi-view is easy to use and has very simple set-up. I plugged in HDMI cables and was working in no time. That being said, it adds an input label with resolution information over each source, and has white lines dividing the sources in the various multi-view modes. My use case is for client-facing digital signage, so this unit did not fit my needs. It is best used for production monitoring and applications where that extra information is not a problem.
