you may red the power supply to go the 25 feet
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to our Technical Support team. There are a couple of methods to reach out to them here: www.monoprice.com/help?pn=contact
PROS: Cheap and "works"
CONS: It takes "~8" seconds to switch between HDMI inputs, it should be faster.
PROS: Works great and no longer need to switch between source inputs and no longer have to explain to the significant other how to watch a movie
CONS: Little to no details on what the specifications are for the "optional" power input. Uses 3.4mm OD, 1.3mm ID plug.
PROS: Device works as intended, small, easy to conceal, low cost.
CONS: You may run into low power, or no power HDMI ports, this would require the device to be powered and manually switch between the two inputs. If your devices don't put out enough power it might be wise to get the powered version of the 2x1 HDMI Splitter. Other than that the unit works flawlessly.
Beside that, the LED that indicate which source the swicth is using is WAY too bright.
To conclude, it IS a very good product and I recommand it if your sources are close to each other. Otherwise, you will need the not-included Power Output.
PROS: - Small.
- Auto-detect new source and switches immediately
- Works with PC Monitors w/HDMI
- Don't need extra power
CONS: - Might need power if there is signal problems, 5V power output not included.
- VERY bright source LED
PROS: Automatically switches between HDMI inputs
CONS: No information given on amperage required for 5V adapter
PROS: Surprisingly small and very sleek.
CONS: It is so light and small that the cables easily lift it into the air (not really a con). I used velcro to stick it to the back of a shelf on my entertainment center.
PROS: I have to admit this switch is very good. Due to lack of HDMI inputs on my TV, I used this switch with my Xbox and blueray player. I simply power on either device I want to use. Never had any issues with the switch not powering on the device I turn on. Best part is, its self powered, no AC plug needed.
CONS: I have not come across any yet.
PROS: Simple to hook up, works like a charm, automatically switches when new source is powered up.
PROS: The precise piece of equipment my grandson wanted in order to make his XBox 360 and XBox 1 do something I know nothing about! Reasonable price, swift delivery, hassle-free. Monoprice is a Luddite's best friend.
PROS: Small, lightweight, didn't require power. Inexpensive. Works exactly as designed.
CONS: None so far.
