    Works good for computers
I had wanted to use this to switch between 2 computers, and a component
threw VGA cable going to a projector that accepted component on its VGA

The computers work fine, the component does not, the same component VGA
cable works when bypassing the switch just fine, when using all the same
cables and a gender changer in place of the switch box so the switch must
change the signal or filter it in some way,

    Doesn't transfer EDID
Quality seems to be fine, but the unit apparently doesn't pass EDID, which makes it a bit painful to use. My computers won't let me go to 1920 x 1080 while connected through this switch, whereas a straight-through connection works fine. FWIW, we have a Veemux switch that doesn't transfer EDID either.

    Does the job just fine.
As mentioned in an earlier review, I also wanted to switch between my monitor and XBOX 360. Works as needed. The only thing that I have noticed is that the detection with the 360 is delayed. It takes 5 or 6 seconds for the monitor to kick back in with the 360 logo and startup. Now, I dont know if it is the 360 thats creating the delay or the switch. Everything else that Ive hooked up to the 360 has worked just fine and without a delay. Other than that small quibble, I am completely satisfied with the switch.

Great price (even with shipping). Quick shipping too.

I used this switch to use 3 VGA devices on an HDTV. Two devices were using HDFury adapters and one was a PC using straight VGA. The two devices using HDFury worked perfectly through the switch. I didnt see any ghosting or other problems usually associated with VGA switches. However the PC connection would not work correctly. I tried three different brands of VGA cable, all high quality and shielded, and I tried each port separately, but the PC connection was always garbled (rolling, dark, stretched diagonally).

I dont think this was necessarily a fault of the device, though. I found that if I started by connecting the PC directly to the display when it booted, and then swapping the cables to the switch it would work correctly. There is evidently some communication between the PC and the display that is being blocked or obscured (EDID Maybe?) by the switch that results in the PC using slightly wrong video settings. I imagine if used on a less flaky device (that HDTV was a piece of junk) it probably wouldnt be an issue, or if I had spent some time fiddling with the more obscure video timing settings on my PC then I might have solved this.

As it is, I ended up exchanging the TV and no longer needed to try.

So, in summary, this thing seems to work great, but evidently you cant rely on EDID settings if you need them.

Works great. I only use 3 of the ports. Pushing button cycles through the inputs. three computers hooked up to one projector.

Good VGA switch. Video quality seems unaffected by switch which is a great thing. Have PC connected to HDTV for now with plans to add a Xbox 360 HD-DVD add-on in the near future.
