The Monoprice VGA Extender system allows you to easily extend and distribute analog VGA video to distances up to 950 feet using a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. Supporting video resolutions up to 1920x1200, it also extends stereo audio signals. This 1x2 kit includes a transmitter only and can be paired with one or two receivers (available separately) for extending to one or two displays.

First, the transmitter arrived with the VGA mounting screws missing; consequently, there is no way to screw the VGA cable into the chassis. Second, the VGA receiver presented a terribly distorted image. I did the peak adjustment per the manual, but it didn't make any difference. After some experimentation, I discovered that the trim pots were mislabeled: the gain was labelled "peak" and the peak was labelled "gain". Once I discovered this, I was able to properly adjust the image.
Everything is working fine now, but if the transmitter is bumped, the cable will fall out, guess I will just have to live with this ;-(
