The good news is that it lasted over a 15 months before failing completely. The bad news is that it is now out of warranty.
Like many others, the connector that connects between this and my phone has failed. I use an extension cable to reduce strain, but this needs to be wiggled and held in place to have my device charge at all. And each time I use it, it get worse.
Monoprice seems to be having connector issues with connectors coming loose. I've seen this on my Monoprice IR remote extender and HDTV antenna (replaced twice) too. It seems that a few drops of epoxy at the factory would solve a number of these issues.
PROS: Keeps good charge, nice case, Micro and Mini-USB charging sockets, great price.
good for the price, but carefule with the connector
So far the I think the battery failed, maybe it's exhausted, or maybe the connector finally gave up. I've used it probably less than 30 times in the year that I've had it, but it's still so cheap that I don't mind. I did buy another battery pack that offers just a usb port that I can plug wires into so now there's no worrying about breaking the connection.
PROS: Worked great for a year. It does what is says, its cheap, it's small and a must have for long trips without an electical outlet.
CONS: The connector protrudes straight out of the unit so when charging, you must be careful not to damage the battery pack connector or the plastic on your phone where it attaches. I'm on the road in the car so even little bumps in the road will loosen the connection and stop the charge without you knowing.

See title. This would charge my SkyGolf SkyCaddie, but not the phones that were the reason I bought the device. Read the comments & reviews, and make sure your device isn't mentioned (there are others, IIRC, that it would not charge)
I suspect there's something wrong in this device, as I have several different micro USB chargers, and this was the only one that would not work on the Razr Maxx or Bionic
Thank goodness for Monoprice customer support and return policy!
CONS: Does not work with Motorola Razr Maxx or Bionic
The battery charges fast and it is light. Unfortunately the position of the charging jack makes it supsceptible to damage. It would be great if in the next revision Monoprice did away with these jacks and just had USB ports on the battery to allow for the battery to be used with any phone. You would just need your own cable. I'd much rather have that.
PROS: Cheap Light Two charging ports Seems to charge quickly
CONS: Only one way to charge a phone Position of and no additional port for charging phones with a cable makes its life shorter Seems to charge a bit slower
This charges my Samsung Galaxy S3 (AT&T). I have an old car with a car charger that doesn't work. This is a good substitute. Also it can come in handy in an emergency when I don't have an electrical outlet available.
PROS: Good value Portable Nice LED indicators Holds it's own charge for over 1 week
CONS: Slow to completely charge my phone Connector may be fragile
