Will this mount work for a 70in tv?

BEST ANSWER: No, this would not work. Too light duty for that large a monitor. VESA mount pattern too small, not heavy duty enough. I'd not use this for anything over about a 22-23" monitor of modest weight. Works great for computer monitors, but not correct for largeer TVs.

BEST ANSWER: There is no mechanism on the mount to lock it in place (aside from over tightening the hinge bolts so the joints are unable to move. That said, you probably don't want to do that every time your RV is in transit.

I see that this is made of aluminum. If I use it outdoors for a small TV (in MN), will it corrode? Are there any parts of it that might rust? Is there something I could do so that I can safely use it outside?

Great mount, but monitor does not stay rotated
This is a very nice looking mount, with some nice heft and a good looking finish. Installation was straightforward using the included hardware and template.
My issue is that my monitor will not maintain rotation orientation and will skew slightly (see attached video). I solved this in the jankiest possible way by repurposing the included Velcro ties as another anchor point to the mount to physically hold the rotation. Doing so severely limits the available motion of the mount; I don't expect to be be moving my monitor often, but when I do I will have to either disconnect/reconnect my Velcro tie solution or deal with a monitor that rotates by itself.

Excellent Small TV Mount
This is a great wall mount for small TVs, our is a 19 for the bedroom. The mounting kit is quite complete, even has a small level, metric allen wrench and velcro to tie cables back. Complete hardware for wood, drywall or concrete installations.
The extending arms are die castings and look much better than the standard stamped sheet metal construction others have. The photos make it look bigger than it is, full extension is about 11 to face of VESA mounting plate.
We are very satisfied with this Monoprice TV Wall Mount.

Great quality mount!

Upon unboxing, the mount feels very smooth and high quality. It was also pleasantly surprised to find 4 velcro ties and a slim HDMI cable. I doubt that I will have any issues.

INCREDIBLE value!
I recently purchased this item to mount a small LED TV in front of my elliptical trainer. It was VERY easy to install and the range of motion is better that I had expected. It is truly an incredible value for the price!
