BEST ANSWER: I don't believe they have additional shielding other than what a typical USB cable has. If I remember correctly, all USB cables typically have a basic foil shielding.

Don't pay more
Best place for your cable needs, and this one worked like a charm. Not a heavy cable so you don't want it in foot traffic but it functions well extending my USB MIDI keyboard to my computer.
