Sure, as long as their cumulative distance from the receiver does not exceed 100 feet! :)

Do these speaker wires heat up? I am looking to run the wires for all 4 in-ceiling speakers on the wall and cover them with a cable concealer. Will this generate heat? Any thoughts?
New User U
on Nov 24, 2020
BEST ANSWER: All wire produce some kind of heat due to the level of current flowing through the wire, but the good news is that this cable is capable of withstanding my 1000W vehicle audio system at high outdoor temperature sometime reaching to 110 degree. It should be safe to install it inside a house wall with a cable concealer easily.

I have never had speaker wires heat up from carrying an audio signal. If they do, you have a serious problem. Note: these wires are meant to carry audio signals only (speaker outputs from your amplifier), they are not meant to carry electrical current.

They don't heat up for my use, but I don't use them heavily. They are not rated for in wall use though. They do however make an in wall rated version of this wire you'd likely be better suited to use.

I am running 10 foot lengths of this speaker wire to an incredibly inefficient pair of floor speakers and even at high volume appreciate no heat in the lines.

Can this wire be run in-wall?
A shopper

BEST ANSWER: Yes, but to be safe better to run in conduit. I have made attic runs but wall runs are always tricky due to electrical, plumbing and yes, the drywall screw..

Depending on where you live, there may be laws that require you to use conduit. This is generally the better way to run any wires in a wall.

Great Wire!
Not that I've ever noticed a difference between wire types, but I figure pure copper is better than anything else.
The wire itself is quite thick, when they say 12 awg they mean it. This makes running it over carpet, but under a rug acceptable, but I would not attempt to run it over a hard floor under a rug. It would be obvious.
Make sure you really need 12 awg. I bought it because 14 awg was not available. If I had a hard floor I would definitely go for 14 awg, or 16 awg if the distance was short enough. Here is a convenient chart showing max run lengths based on speaker ohms and wire awg: https://support.klipsch.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058336451-What-Gauge-Wire-Should-I-Use

Pure copper, as advertised. Thank you!
Pure copper wire is hard to find at this price. After almost being misled into buying copper clad aluminum from several other sites out there, it was refreshing to find a good deal.
