can you use this for satellite speakers?
A shopper
on Jun 13, 2019
No. This is designed for other applications; you can use it to connect your subwoofer or as a coaxial connection for digital audio. I use regular 12ga pure copper speaker wire & banana plugs to connect my Klipsch satellite speakers.

I used it connect my woofer to a preinstalled wiring outlet in my living room. So if your speaker is close to an outlet that accepts a coax cable, it will work.

It would require the speakers having RCA type terminals.

BEST ANSWER: RG59U is a standard specification for Coaxial Cable. It consists of a 20 AWG inner conductor, a foam FEP dielectric (insulator) around the inner conductor, and a braided shield made from multiple 36 AWG wires.

Would this (product #2743) be the best cable for running between and AVR preamp outs to an External Amplifier??
Douglas S
on Jun 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It would be the best choice for that type of application. I am using it for a similar function from preamp to subwoofers. No signal loss and it is shielded which is most important when using it this way. I ran a 3ft to the customizable keystone wall plate and from there, another 75ft to the furthest sub. No delay nor distortion. Just great sound.

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
At that length all of the RCA cables we sell would be on the same level as long as they are RG6.
I would recommend using #21679.

High Value and High Quality
If you spend time comparison shopping, you likely won't find a better price (yes, including shipping). In addition, the cable and it's connections appear to be of high quality. I have several of these cables connecting DVD digital audio to audio receivers. Sounds good.

Bargain coax cable connector.
Outstanding product for the price. Fast delivery coast to coast.
Good connectors, well insulated, OFC copper wire. Of universal application for audio connections between components.

A perfect analog interconnect.
I now use this cable for all analog connections. If I can get a 72dB phono signal at 47k?, cranked to 11, to be almost dead silent (relatively speaking; no phono signal will be absent of hiss at such levels), then this cable is the answer to all analog connection questions. No romance, no magic, zero flash - just a rock solid signal. And for $3.20 a pair. Every "high end" cable manufacturer out there should be shaking in their boots (as well as ashamed, in most cases). Do yourself a favor and try them out. You've got nothing but $3.20 to lose if you don't like them. In the utterly silly audiophile world of cables (it's wire, folks), at some point you have to (you really must) be honest with yourself. Can you actually (really, genuinely) hear a difference? What do you hear? Or in my case, what didn't I hear? Well, in my silly audiophile world all my other interconnects just went up for sale. I've been through dozens and dozens of systems and dozens of dozens of cables over the last 30 years. I'm sure my system will change at least a few more times (here and there), but I'm officially done with "high end" interconnects.

It worked as expected.
Hooking one end to the yellow video output and the other two cables to the audio output I connected the other ends to the projector. It worked nice for movie night at church but the quality of composite video is not as good as component, VGA, S-video or HDMI.
