BEST ANSWER: You’ll have to make sure your PS4 audio outputs are set for the Bluetooth and not HDMI, but I’m not certain that this cable or any computer monitor’s DVI input would be HDCP-compatible.

No, you will not get audio with this cable alone. You must run a separate RCA audio cable.

So I plugged this cord into my ps4 and into the monitor. The monitor is giving me a message: DIGITAL OUT OF RANGE 67.3 kHz/ 60 Hz. Do I need a different cord or try a different monitor?

Not an expert, but sounds like a resolution problem with monitor settings.
Try this:
You hold the power button on the ps4 till it beeps, then the monitor will adjust and the image will display regardless of compatibility. Once in safe mode you hit ok the -change resolution- setting and then you hit ok. After that the ps4 will restart and the ps4 can now be displayed on the before incompatible monitor. After it turns on the quality will be low. To fix this go into settings, sound and screen then resolution. Change it to 720p. Nothing higher or the black screen will come up again.

Can the DVI be converted to RGB does it have the pins to do this?

BEST ANSWER: The DVI Connector is a Single Link DVI-D connector. The analog pins are not there.

I am trying to transmit a DVI signal. There is no audio. I purchased the Blackbird Pro with two HDMI to DVI cables. Unfortunately it isn't working. If I use an HDMI source attached to the transmitter, the receiver with the HDMI to DVI cable works to receive the signal. But when I use the DVI source, I get no image. Any thoughts on why this isn't working? Thanks.

The Monoprice High Speed HDMI Cable to DVI Adapter Cable 6ft works the way I wanted.
I wanted this Monoprice High Speed HDMI Cable to DVI Adapter Cable 6ft because it works. I plugged it into the DVI port of a Dell monitor to use as a third monitor for a iMac computer. By using this cable with the Monoprice 2X1 splitter, it allowed the Apple OS to recognize it as a third monitor.
If I use a HDMI cable instead to the Dell monitor HDMI port, it did not get the third monitor recognized as I wanted. So this Monoprice High Speed HDMI Cable to DVI Adapter Cable 6ft was the best solution for what I wanted to configure.
