Monoprice had the honor of participating in Anaheim Ducks 19th Annual First Flight Field Trip on February 28, 2019. Over 16,000 students and teachers visited the Honda Center for this STE(A)M inspired event which uses the “science of hockey” to teach students about the real world applications of STE(A)M. This year’s focus was on the hockey puck and the event was complete with hands-on exhibits and displays, workbook activities and an Anaheim Ducks team skills showdown. Monoprice showed off some of its 3D printers during the Playground portion of the event. A “Build a Better Puck” contest was also part of the festivities and 4 lucky students with the best design each won a Monoprice 3D printer for their school and bragging rights.
