Monoprice Renews Direct
to Consumer Model Commitment with New Brick and Mortar Store
E-Commerce Leader Creates
Expanded Retail Location

Cucamonga, Calif. (July 5, 2017) – Monoprice, leading online
retailer offering high quality and affordably priced consumer electronics and
accessories, today opened a new brick and mortar store at its corporate
headquarters in Southern California. The store opening celebrates Monoprice’s 15-year
anniversary and renewed commitment to directly meet the needs of its consumers.
The new retail location replaces Monoprice’s original will call store, opened
in 2013 to offer some of its bestselling products.
Monoprice
has continued to establish itself as an e-tail leader, recognized by the
industry for driving down high costs, improving ease and use of its products,
and offering a variety of high-quality solutions across multiple product
categories. In addition to its commanding presence in the popular audio, mobile
and monitor categories, the brand has recently expanded into 3D printing,
outdoor/cycling and home appliances with the newly launched Strata Home.

More than
three times the space of Monoprice’s will call center, the new location boasts 1,900
square feet of retail floor space with expanded inventory of the brand’s
existing categories. The store will house new features, including five demo
areas across the following product categories: Pro Audio, Home Theatre, 3D Printing, Security/Gaming and Strata Home/Pure Outdoor. The new location will also sell more
than twice as many products.
To
celebrate the opening, Monoprice is hosting a grand opening and ribbon cutting
ceremony today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. including city officials such as, Mayor
L. Dennis Michael and
Mayor Pro
Tem Lynne Kennedy. The event will consist of welcome speeches from Monoprice
and statements from local elected officials, followed by the official ribbon
cutting, opening day deals, a raffle giving away five 15w Tube Amps and gift
bags for the first 50 customers.
In
addition to the store opening, Monoprice will offer extensive sales for two
weeks starting July 10th to celebrate the brand’s 15-year
anniversary. All sales are listed on the Monoprice website.
