Does this fit in a 3" grommet hole on a desk?
    A shopper on Nov 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hello, thank you for your question. The diameter of unit is 2.36 inches (60mm), I hope this helps, and of course if you have any more questions feel free to contact us!
The description indicates that the hole is 60mm. I would like clarification... is this is the required hole diameter, or is it the diameter of the largest point (i.e. the flange that doesn't pass through the hole)?
    A shopper on May 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 60mm is the required hole diameter. The flange diameter is 69mm.

    Works just as advertised.
I purchased this the other day as my wife misplaced her charging cable for her waterproof MP3 player that she goes swimming with. It was a USB to 1/8 " audio jack. It works great so nothing to say other than another Monoprice product that works just like it should!

    Great addition to my desk!
Overall a great little product, especially for the price. If you're sick of reaching under your computer desk to plug in headphones or USB devices... this is for you!

PROS: 3 USB ports and audio jacks built into my desk with minimal space, fits right in the pre-drilled holes for wires in my desk, also allows other wires to be fed through it.

CONS: I could have used longer cables on the backside, but I made it work.

CONS: would be nice if it was usb3

A pretty good little device, I got it to move the USB and audio ports on the side of my computer from the enclosed space to a more accessible area. It is well made for the price, and I haven't had any problems with any of the ports, I can charge my ipod and phone through it, and the sound works great.

There's a blue light on it that never turns off, and it fits pretty loosely in what I believe is a standard size hole (I didn't have a spare grommet) but these are minor concerns.

    PROS: Works well, very handy

CONS: Blue light never turns off, seems to need a grommet to fit correctly (may not be cons for you)
