As long as the mounting holes meet the current standards this bracket will hold just about anything. The larger TVs will be fine.

Is this mount only made for concrete/brick, or can it be installed through sheetrock/wood studs?
A shopper
on Jul 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It should be able to be mounted through drywall and into wood studs. It comes with four (I think) anchor bolts that would be able to go through the drywall and into the stud. You'll just need to make sure of your stud placement before mounting. If it is going over drywall only, I would advise finding some anchors made specifically for drywall that would be able to hold about four times the weight you plan on putting on it.

Yes this mount can be used with wood stud framing just use the included lag bolts do not use the anchors. Be sure to find center of your studs and predrill so you do not split the studs when installing lag bolts

I don’t know about the Visio comparability but most modern TVs have standardized bolt patterns. Yes it will mount in 16” on center studs. That said, this is a heavy duty bracket for large heavy (plasma) displays. You could probably get by with a less expensive lighter duty model for a 42” lcd tv.

Does a full motion mount sit as close to the wall as a tilt only mount?
Chris W

BEST ANSWER: No, it'll sit out a hair further. On a tilt only mount your TV brackets will hang directly off a plate mounted to the wall . On this unit the brackets hang off a plate mounted to the TV which, in turn, is fastened to a plate mounted to the wall.

Hello is there a way to make it a little loose for the full motions, i feel like its a little to hard to move around?
A shopper
on Dec 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes all you have to do is loosen the allen head screws at the pivot points and or spray some lubricant on the joints. However, you should be careful not to loosen the bolts to much they need to be snug at least. If they are really tight though it can inhibit the joint movement. I believe it has plastic bushings inside it. Mine is stiff also but part of that is also the weight of the TV on the joints binding them I believe. I would try some WD-40 or 3in1 lube and check all of the socket head/allen head bolts to make sure they are tightened properly. Properly on something like this is nice and snug but not real tight to where it would bind up the bushings.

Loosen off the hex bolts at each of the pivot points. But only loosen them off a little bit, or you'll be introducing the possibility of sagging.

No - it is flat when against the wall or articulating out from the wall. I like it so that I can put it on a left/right angle and watch videos and television while completing another task. I placed the TV height to watch while sitting down - and ever so slightly higher so that people could see over each other if it ended up being a group setting. I have the TV at my business, so customers use it to watch information on products too.

I am looking at using this product to mount my TV above my fireplace. I have tried using a similar mount before, but when the TV was flush against the wall, it was off center. I am wondering if this mount would do the same. The problem that I have is that if I have the TV centered, I have a stud 4 inches away on the right and 13 inches away on the left (the studs are not 16 inches due to the fireplace vent). Also, I want to have a center channel speaker below the TV...should I just get a non-articulating mount? Thanks!

I love my wall mount. I bought this while ago and my TV is dead center where I want it to be. The studs in my wall are also a bit weird and the several holes in the back made it easy to secure to the studs.
As far as a speaker below the TV, I cannot answer as I don't have this need, but if I wanted to put one there I would have plenty of space for it without hitting the mount.
I hope this helps.

Mine is the same way. I assumed it was another axis of travel. (It can be slid side to side if you wish). Maybe it's helpful if you are trying to center it over something or on the wall, and the wall studs didn't allow you to center it. But I'm pretty sure that is it's intended design.

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the 6200 mount will be able to hold a 600x400mm 100lb TV no problem! The maximum VESA it can hold is 800x400mm.

If I buy a TV with a VESA 300 x 300 pattern will that work with this mount? I don't know what "...between 100 x 100 and 800 x 400".

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. So this mount will fit VESA patterns between 100x100 to 800x400. 300x300 will be in-between those measurements, so this mount will work perfect for your TV. Just be sure that the weight of your TV does not exceed the 132lbs that this mount can hold.

What is the vertical spacing of holes on the wall plate? I am replacing a previous mount, and the mounting lag bolts are on a 6.5" vertical spacing. Also a small deviation on the horizontal spacing. Bottom row is 16", but top row is only 14-3/8". The left bolt on the top row is aligned vertically with the bottom bolt. It is very strange, but that's what the previous owners of the home had set up. We are trying to mount an LG 55UH615A-UC TV on the wall, and we are hoping this mount will do the job.

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
This would not work in the situation you described since this would have too much space on the height measurement to line up with the existing holes.

Excellent Low Profile Mount with Good Articulation
This mount is perfect for keeping my LG 65" OLED extremely close to the wall while still allowing significant articulation. Setup was simple and the mount feels robust. I've only had extremely positive experiences with Monoprice mounts (4 total) and they're my go-to solution for monitors and TVs.

Pretty Terrible
Write your review here. It must be at least 10 characters long. Consider whComing from using mounts such as Cheif, PDR, Strong, I've installed over 500 tv's in my career, this mount isn't worth $5. . Almost no way to level the TV once on the bracket - the four bolts have Phillip screws on the tv side, that must be stationary to loosen/tighten the nuts. This could probably be solved by flipping them around and using a box end wrench between the TV side. Or you could JB weld the Philips side to ensure it stays in place. All quality mounts have the ability to level the tv without this much fuss!
No fine tune vertical adjustment, you get 3/4" increments on the tv rails, that's it, so you've got to nail your wall holes perfectly if you're trying to achieve a specific height.
Locking bolts that 'secure' the TV to the mount are not long enough, they leave a good 1/4" gap, so as soon as you try to move the arm around the tv slides all over the the mount. I had to buy additional bolts to get a more acceptable lock down. (M6x50's).
Back plate that goes on wall can only span two studs at its VERY furthest holes, last holes all the way to the outer limits, this diminishes you mounting options massively - make sure you have toggle bolts!
You can't really take the back plate off to mount. If you do it's loads of trouble, I was not able to extract the pin that holds the arms in to do this, so that means you'll have to manhandle the entire mount up the wall when you're installing it. All other articulating mounts I mentioned above have the ability to remove the arm from the backplate for easy install.
Arm does not have the ability move laterally on the back plate, so you have no lateral adjustment in that respect. Only the sliding side to side on the TV part.
The arm is very tight when it arrives, you feel like the TV is going to snap. If you loosen the joints to get a more free flowing motion, you loose level...
No mounting template.
Instructions don't even have dimensions of the bracket.
Would not recommend, I had to install two tv's side by side and had to get them to match up perfectly. It was a complete NIGHTMARE....The money you save in buying cheap components such as this, you spend in labor.ether you would recommend this product and what you like or dislike about it.
