I must say that I was surprisingly impressed by this guitar. The fit and finish was very good, the fretwork wasn't perfect but it was very good as well. The P90's sound great. Well worth the money!
The best looking guitar in my collection. It plays and sounds great!
So beautiful! I am so happy with my Indio. It's so well made and came to me ready to play right out of the box. I would highly recommend this guitar to beginners and pros alike.
I wanted to love this guitar. Everything about it felt great until I actually tried to play it and found that the frets were terrible. I had it replaced immediately and the frets on the replacement were just as bad. It could be a great guitar for someone who's comfortable with doing their own fret leveling, but you can find a better guitar for cheaper than this plus having a luthier level the frets would run you.
I know how important it is to have a guitar that plays well, and I'm disappointed to hear that your Indio guitars did not meet your expectations. I want to assure you that we are working to improve our quality control process so that this does not happen again.

my impression of this Indio hhs strat style is good and the playability is surprising compared to my fender stratocaster player series'.
i am pleasantly surprised with the quality of the guitar! especially when you consider the price.
Great Les Paul. P90 pickups surprisingly good. Had a gouge next to strap button. I ultimately returned it and had to give kudos to Monoprice's customer service. Very happy customer here!
A solid Les Paul - expect a wee bit of set up work.
I received my 66SB in black today?and it is a beauty! I compared it side-by-side with my Gibson LP Studio - and was shocked that the tones were not that far off the mark - for 10x the value! Of course, workmanship is not to the same level, however the neck profile feels the same, the finish is very fine - one small Nick in the binding on the horn.
I was a little disappointed in the dime-sized pots - would have like to seen full-sized like my Indio Retro DLX. But the pickups - oh my, they really stand up to some beautiful tones - a lbs very versatile!
I took one star off for the small finish flaw, a little electronics crackle that needed cleaning and the dime sized pots. I absolutely love the headstock and the tuners are a treat!
However, the luthier setting it up - not so happy with. Action - the strings were resting on the frets (frets are good and level!) and intonation was quite a bit out on four strings (although it looks like good D?Addario strings!). It must have been coffee break?
