Works well for a beginner. Clean and good sound or that’s what music teacher said.

This is a fairly good student trumpet. It has braces where they need to be, no scrimping.
I did find one valve slightly sticky. Upon disassembly, I noticed that the valve oil was ok, but I needed to burnish the edges of the valve slide slots as they were a little rough, and catching the sliding plastic spring retainer.
I burnished all the slot edges on all of the valves, and they now work like butter. The sliding plastic spring retainers will last longer, too.
I like the fact that it came as a kit, ready to play, no extras needed.

For the money I paid for this thing, I have no complaints and nothing but respect for this company for the quality of this trumpet ????

For an inexpensive trumpet this is really a fantastic quality instrument.

This is a super value if you are deciding between renting an instrument for a beginning student. Renting an instrument was $22/mo for a previously used trumpet from a very reputable music store. The valves on this trumpet were very smooth and better than our rental. I bought this for my son, who is beginning. I can play the trumpet and preferred this one over the rental. Wish I bought this sooner, I've already spent double the cost in renting a used trumpet. The case is decent, very lightweight- which is good for a 9 yr. old to carry to school. The mouthpiece is a bonus (cost $27 at the music store) it's a 7c which is a good beginning mouthpiece. The trumpet stand is very nice, and when folded fits in the bell of the trumpet when it's in the case. Includes a cloth, gloves, valve oil and a music stand... this is a great value.
