Depends if you screwing into woods studs a impact works best with the lag bolts they provide but if your going into metal studs and drywall a regular cordless drill works fine

No need for an impact driver. Regular drill is fine. You need to have the right drill bit for the type of wall you are putting it on. (example, cement wall vs drywall/wood).

Can someone explain why this wouldn't work for my 26" TV which is VESA 100x100? I would like to be able to upgrade to a 32" in the future and thinking this should work fine, however specs say only good for 32" +

BEST ANSWER: The minimum size is recommended to ensure that the TV covers the mount. If you do not mind having the mount show, this will still work with your 26" TV as long as the VESA pattern matches and is within the weight range.

It's recommended because of how wide it is. Compare it's width to your TV's width. If you don't mind seeing the mount or it possibly sticking out, it should work.

BEST ANSWER: Yes. The vertical brackets are attached (screwed, 4 bolts) to the TV. While the mount stays on the wall. By slightly tilting the bottom of the tv away from the wall, the TV may be removed from the wall bracket by lifting up. I have relocated our TV since we have the same mounts in different rooms. I find it more difficult to unplugging all the wires than removing the TV from the wall.
Also with this style of mount you can place the wall bracket slightly 'off center' and still have the TV centered on the wall. The weight of the TV rests on the top rail and therefore can be slid left or right to center the TV. Not too much though or you'll start to see the wall mount, depending on the width of your TV.

BEST ANSWER: Although not labelled as such, it's constructed of powder-coated steel so it seems it would be just fine being mounted outdoors. I would try to provide it the same kind of shelter that you would provide the TV which you intend to mount with it.

BEST ANSWER: The 2 metal brackets attach to the back of your tv, the cords hanging down allow you to unclip the brackets from the mount on the wall if for some reason you need to take the tv down. Mount works well for me.

They release the latches that secure the TV portion of the mount to wall portion. Pulling on them will release the bottom part, allowing you to tilt it out and lift it when removing it.

BEST ANSWER: Not sure but probably about 1-2" at the top. You should mount as close to eye level as possible as you sit anyway. Don't mount it too high and you shouldn't have to tilt it too much

I have this mount and have upgraded to a slightly bigger TV. Do you sell just the tilting brackets for this mount or sell a mount that's compatible? I have the TV up there with just the top 2 holes but would rather have both, but dont want to have to remount a new plate. Vesa is 200x300 now.

I want to install a tv in my camping trailer. From what I gather, the two screws on the bottom will only keep the tv from falling off? But while the trailer is being towed on the road, is the tv going to be sliding back & forth from left to right and vice versa?? The screws only prevent the tv from falling off, but not sliding back & forth?

The LG OLED 65" model TVs have a 300x200mm VESA mounting pattern and are only about 50# in weight, so would this mount be OK with one of them, even though the range listed goes to 55" and that was described as only an estimate and that the VESA mounting pattern size is the more important factor?

I purchased the #5915 wall mount, but I am looking at a tv has a 200 x 400 Vesa requirement. Will this mount still work even though it is rated at 400 x 400 ?
The tv is a 75 inch U8N Hisense. The 65 version of this same tv model is also 200 x 400.

Easiest mount I've ever used
Incredibly easy to install. Even comes with two levels and a template that make the wall mounting hardware dummy-proof. The mounting holes are just wide enough to mount to 16" on -center studs and avoid sheetrock anchors entirely.

Nice mount- measure your studs!
Slim, straightforward instal, adequate hardware and bolts screws but the bracket on the wall was not wide enough to cover the gap between studs on May wall?interior wall studs are 24? apart. Quick trip to store for some drywall anchors rated 100 lbs for $4 did the trick Tv looks great on the wall and the template provide helps lots. I?d buy again but may more attention to the bracket dimensions and the wall I plan to mint on
