These are too wide for wall plates. I tried them in both the one I bought from Monoprice and a Leviton brand. They were too wide for side-by-side installation. If you are using them in a 2 or 3 port plate which are arranged vertically, they are fine. But for a 4 or 6 port plate in which they will install side-by-side, don't buy these!

Bought some other punch downs from a brick and mortar. They did not install as easily and were over 2x as much. These were exactly as described and reasonably priced.

There is no better connection than one that is secured with an impact tool. These jacks are well made. The covers ad and extra measure of protection. The cable tie is a nice touch for a strain relief.

PROS: Uses an impact tool to secure the wire. Lowest price I have ever seen for this quality jack.

CONS: None, unless you don't like using an impact tool. A small push tool will also work.

Sturdy construction and easy punch-down. Very nice also is the fact that the caps are low-profile (unlike some other jacks) so it affixes nicely in those crowded 3- to 6-hole keystone plates.

Armed with guidance from the web to use the "B" wiring diagram, these jacks were easy to hook up and install. I took advantage of the colors to make the two runs from hub to two different rooms easy to follow (especially for the next person who has to decode my house.)
