BEST ANSWER: Regular audio XLR cables will work fine for connecting your receiver to your amplifier. DMX cables have capacitance values specific to the requirements of DMX lighting systems. Will it work? Yes...and you will likely not know the difference, but the gold plated audio cables are the ideal.

Overbuilt cables, Best for the money
These things are higher quality than any other off the shelf cable I've ever bought over the course of my 16+ years playing instruments and doing live audio. Recently redid all the cabling in my studio with exclusively these as well, and I no longer have any interference issues like I did with previous higher price cabling.
If Monoprice ever quits making these, I'm tracking down the parts manufacturers for the ends and shielded OFC wire myself and switching to 100% DIY cables.
TL;DR - tell Monoprice to shut up and take your money when it comes to these.
