Does this support extended monitor with Windows?

BEST ANSWER: It just duplicates whatever you feed into it. So if you connect and HDMI connection from your computer and set it up as an extended monitor, you'll have 2 of the "extended" desktop image. It won't be able to do 2 different feeds.

BEST ANSWER: It comes with a 3 ft USB-B cord, but no power supply. Designed to receive power from the USB port on the TV or Video source box. If you need to plug it into the wall, this would work: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=27864

Will this support differing displays from a single output mac video card?

BEST ANSWER: Depends on the Mac, laptops or MacBooks and IMacs generally have thunderbolt outport and you will need a Thumderbolt to HDMT cable to use this device, a Mac Mini has HDMI ports, this device is an HDMI splitter, I have two monoprice splitters, and work well, But you need to understand how to use the Display setup to mirror or have an extended screen.

I want to add a touchscreen monitor. Would this be compatible with the Soundcraft Ui24r ? The current touchscreen monitor requires a USB control cable also to run the digital PA. I am using ASUS monitors?

From a blu ray source: will this allow video to a TV and audio to sound bar? For some reason, my sound bar doesn't like audio from TV via the optical out when playing DVDs or blu rays.

Great buy for any setup
Setup is simple. Plug and go, set up is a little crazy: DisplayPort -> Powered F DP to M HDMI -> Splitter -> 50ft HDMI to 4K TV & 10ft HDMI to 4K TV.
