Same as another reviewer. The charger functions correctly, but the issue is the blue LED ring on the edge, only half of it lights up. Monoprice was quick to send a replacement, and that one has a defective blue LED ring as well!

This is a replacement for a defective car-charger previously received. This replacement car-charger also was defective. Both with the same issue...the blue LED surrounding the charger was defective. However, the charger itself works. The LED is the issue. Monoprice was quick to replace the defective charger. But, no response after receiving the replacement unit. I am willing to pay for the other charger offered for a few dollars more, as long as they work. Offered to return both defective chargers for analysis. But, no response from Monoprice. My only recommendation is to stay away from this charger and go for the ones that are a few dollars more, and hope the quality is better...

The key, in my opinion, to most electrical chargers and devices is a discrete ""on"" indicator. This charger has a soft blue color light that tells me the charger is seated in the car's socket. No more attempts to charge that fail because the charger is not getting any power from the source/car.

Doesn?t seem to charge my iPhone 12 Pro any faster than a cheapo car charger.

Inexpensive and works well. The light to let let you know it?s working is visible, but not too bright.
