Does this work if the phone has a case on it?
A shopper
on Nov 14, 2022
BEST ANSWER: My phone charges fine with my case (Otterbox) but it all depends on the thickness of the case. If your phone charges fine with other wireless chargers you shouldn't have any issues with this one.

Yes it does, but it might depend on how think your case is.. I have charged Samsung Galaxy phones with this charger, and also multiple Fire tablets in cases and it has charged all of them.

Why does the light turn green and flash after my phone has been on the charger for a while? Where is there an explanation of the light function of this charging stand?
Darrell H
on Dec 21, 2022
BEST ANSWER: On my Charging Stand the light is normally blue when at rest. When I place my phone on the stand the light turns green and the phone indicates it is in charge mode. I have yet to leave it on the charge stand until it's 100% charged, but I would assume that when it reaches 100% it may start to flash to inform you. You could check the phone status to see if it is still charging when the light is flashing.

According to the manual which you can download, it means there is an error, most likely misalignment of your phone with the charging coil. I have the same problem.

Do you have any specs on the type of power adapter you can use with this charger?
New User U
on Feb 13, 2023
BEST ANSWER: Since this wireless charger is rated at 10 watts that means the USB power adapter needs to be rated for at least 2 amps output (i.e., 5 volts x 2 amps equals 10 watts).

Use any charger/power adapter used for phone charging. It's output should be 5 volts and preferably 1.5 amps.

I purchased both this charger and it's 15W big brother. Neither came with instructions/user manuals. And also to be noted... they do NOT work the same . Specifically I am looking for the "light codes". Blue light steady, Green light steady, Green light blinking and Green light steady. Thanks for any help... I still haven't heard back from Monoprice after asking them for a set of instructions. Do you know the codes?

This Qi Wireless Charging Stand works much better others I own
I'm very pleased with this purchase I use my Apple IPHONE with a wallet style case and these style wallet cases are the only ones that have prevent me from killing my Apple iPhone. This Qi charging stand is superior in it's ability to inductively couple to the phone versus many horizontal charging pad.

Works as Described
I have one of these from another manufacturer. They both work the same way, but this one seems to charge a little more quickly using the same fast charger. One thing that seems a little unusual is that it has a solid light while charging and flashes when fully charged. Every one of my other chargers that has a status light flashes when charging and is solid when charging is complete. I'm not sure why they chose this, but the flashing light is definitely a more active notification that charging is complete!
