wish there was a smaller diameter

I needed a cheap and easy way to run some CAT 5e Ethernet cable up the walls and along the ceiling in my unfinished basement. These clips might be designed for coaxial RG6 - but they did the job for my Ethernet too.

Sure - the “right” way is installing conduit and fishing them through. But realistically, it may be years before I finish the basement and want wall plates and the whole bit. This is a cheap enough solution so it’s not a big deal to rip it back out in the future.
