PROS: I thought nice a cheaper cable and look at all the colors... I picked red.
Got it fast but did not work at all
CONS: The cable did not work it's just a wast of money. I would recommend not getting this cheap crap. It's a wast of ur time and money.
PROS: Price, Performance, Reliability, Colored Cable
PROS: Awesome color, work well so far, good price i'd recommend to anyone :)
CONS: none so far keep up the good work monoprice
Anyway, having never had a TV we needed HDMI cables for, I needed to go shopping. Went down to Walfart, and their cheapest cables were $28 PER CABLE!! Well, they had some a bit cheaper, but they were horrifically cheaper in build quality (evident through the package), and were still over $20 per cable.
I couldn't be happier with these cables, gold plated, nice, heavy cords, ferrite cores (my $28 cables don't have ferrite cores), choice of colors so I can differentiate which cable goes to which device without having to resort to a scene where my wife is in back of the center, I'm in front, and we're yelling at each other trying to figure out if she is pulling on the right cable, or if I am.
I just wish I could figure out which version these are. Are these 1.4? I don't know. They do the job.
I purchased 4 of these cables each in different colors, a car charger for my phone, one for my wife's phone, a 10 foot cord to plug into my USB charging block for my phone (bedroom charger, outlet on wife's side of bed), and including shipping, IT WAS LESS THAN ONE CORD FROM WALFART!!!! It was $25.82 for all 7 cords shipped to my house. It cost OVER 60 BUCKS with tax, for me to drive to Walfart and get TWO cords!!! AND, the Walfart cords WEREN'T gold plated!!
I kept my receipt, and the Walfart cords are going back.
-Great build quality
-Heavy duty cables (thicker than I anticipated- a good thing)
-Color options for color coding devices
-Gold plated connectors
CONS: -What version are these? Are these 1.3? 1.4? I don't need the 1.4's, but it would be nice to know what I've got, for the future.
PROS: they are fat and durable and last forever
