This cable appears to be a nice braided nylon cable but it only took a few months of use for the connectors to become completely loose and no longer charge my macbook or my phone unless held there with pressure. Reading other reviews, it seems like this a common issue with these cables. I would avoid and find a different line of monoprice product

Great product for a great price I use these to extend my SENNHEISTER MOMENTUM 3 Headset through a USB dongle that came with the MOMENTUM while I sit back and listen to music in GREAT quality. These are definitely my best purchase this year so far. I'll probably buy another one so I can hook another one up to my Nintendo Switch for an immersive experience in beautiful, no skip, no lag, no cut music from my devices. Thank you Monoprice for providing such a great product for such affordable prices!

The Charging cable looks great and I'm sure it will work great. But I ordered the wrong one's and didn't know what to do about it so I've just kept them anyway.

Do not buy to use for phones! It only charges if held just right, and falls out if you use it while it is charging. Cord is too stiff., And makes it impossible to not knock the cord out. Exercise in frustration.
